RAA are delighted to announce the appointment of Gary Buck as Principal Hydraulic Modeller. Gary has joined our Northern office which for the immediate short term is based at Manchester Business Park, located right next door to Manchester Airport.
Gary joins us from Jacobs and brings with him over 15 years’ experience in wastewater modelling. He has worked on a wide range of wastewater network modelling projects including Model Maintenance, Strategic studies, flooding solutions and has worked for clients such as United Utilities, Severn Trent Water, Welsh Water and Northumbrian Water.
RAA Director John Hilson commented “We are pleased to have Gary on board in this exciting period of growth for the company. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and industry experience that will play an instrumental role in supporting the positioning of our already industry-leading business towards future opportunities in the North of England. Gary will also play a leading role in the wider hydraulic modelling team undertaking work on existing framework contracts with Wessex Water, Irish Water and Severn Trent”
John also confirms that permanent office space is imminent and once the team is installed in the new premises, RAA will be announcing the official opening of the northern office. In the meantime, John and Gary will be enjoying a bit of plane spotting with a first class view of the runway at Manchester Airport!
