RAA builds on existing relationship with Network Rail Air Ops by securing a place on new UAS framework

Richard Allitt Associates Ltd are very pleased to be able to announce that Remote Aerial Surveys have been awarded a place on Network Rail’s Unmanned Aircraft Systems Framework for the delivery of UAS services nationally for the next three years.

Following on from our initial appointment to the original framework in 2014 and subsequent contract extensions, the award will see Remote Aerial Surveys providing continuous services including inspection and survey of railway infrastructure and assets. This time the framework for UAS services was split into 3 geographical lots; South, Midlands and North, with RAA successful in their bids for all three regions.

RAS Operations Director Martin Allitt commented “We are looking forward to this next phase in our relationship with Network Rail and continuing to collaboratively develop innovative and safe survey and inspection solutions across the rail infrastructure. Having been on the original framework from the outset, we are excited about the opportunities to come and the scope to assist the Air Ops division not only by providing our surveying services but by sharing ideas and experiences in what is a rapidly advancing sector both in technology and growth”
