Richard Allitt Associates Ltd are pleased to announce that we are continuing to support susdrain as a partner throughout the 2018-2020 period and are looking forward to the inaugural #SuDSawards that will be held this month.
The SuDS Awards invite leaders from across the construction industry to showcase outstanding and innovative SuDS schemes with a focus on projects that deliver multiple benefits beyond drainage alone.
The shortlist was revealed on 13th June and the winners will be announced at an award ceremony on Wednesday 18th July at City Hall, London.
Phil Gelder of RAA says ‘The recent publication by Water UK of a pre-implementation version of Sewers for Adoption 8 (SfA8) which includes guidance on adoptable SuDS is encouraging as many believe the lack of a formal route to adoption is one of the main reasons for the lack of uptake. What better time to celebrate successful SuDS schemes and showcase the benefits whilst also highlighting the challenges and how they were overcome. This ultimately will be how we will achieve the shift from conventional piped drainage to a SuDS approach.”
