Richard Allitt Associates Ltd are pleased to announce that they have been awarded a place on the TFL Professional Services Engineering Consultancy Framework.
Having secured the opportunity to bid for the ITT in the prequalification stage prior to the emergence of the Covid 19 pandemic, RAA’s response was largely completed whilst working remotely during lockdown in 2020.
Successful in Lot B4 – Pumps, Hydraulics & Drainage and Sustainable Drainage, RAA will take their place alongside 7 other consultants to provide a range of services to TFL, utilising their specialist knowledge of hydraulic modelling to assist the development of design solutions in urban drainage infrastructure.
John Hilson, Director at RAA who led the bid said “It is great that TFL have recognised the expertise and experience in flood risk assessment, hydraulic modelling and optioneering study that an SME like RAA can bring. We are looking forward to the opportunity to use our cutting edge InfoWorks ICM experience and ongoing commitment to promoting sustainable drainage systems to deliver innovative solutions for TFL throughout the duration of the framework and beyond.”
The award marks a key move forward in RAA’s growth and development within rail infrastructure. Having held a place on Network Rail’s UAV (Drone) service framework since 2014, securing their place on TFL’s framework firmly establishes RAA as a key player in the transport sector.
