We are delighted to announce that one of our Graduate Hydraulic Modellers has been appointed to the CIWEM UDG New Members Group Committee.
Hanna Kugachandran, who has been with us for 1 year, will sit on the Events Sub-committee and the Communication sub-committee. This will see her getting involved in organising CPD and social events as well as being involved in organising activities at UDG conferences and maintaining and monitoring social media activity.
The New Members Group (NMG) was founded in 2016 to support new comers to the urban drainage industry. The group aims to provide professional development and networking opportunities to everyone interested in urban drainage, from students through to professionals who have recently secured Chartership with CIWEM.
Hanna is looking forward to the upcoming UDG Autumn conference and said “I am excited to attend my first event as an NMG committee member with RAA. I believe this will provide an excellent platform to encourage wider learning, networking and career development”.
