Adam Dean Award Finalists
Richard Allitt Associates is delighted to announce that two of its hydraulic modellers were selected as finalists for the prestigious Adam Dean Award. With women only representing 6% of the engineering workforce it is especially rewarding that both of our finalists are women. Bryony Crickmore and Rachael Albrighton have worked for the company for around two years and in that time made a significant contribution to the team.
The Adam Dean Award is aimed at encouraging those yet to take the big step of presenting at a national conference to develop a poster presentation which was displayed and presented at the 2015 CIWEM UDG Autumn Conference in Chester. Entrants had to have less than four years experience and be working towards chartership of a recognised body.
Two graduate modellers from Richard Allitt Associates were entered for this award and it was especially pleasing that both were selected as finalists and got the chance to display their work at the CIWEM UDG Autumn Conference. The company prides itself on selecting high calibre graduates and then nurturing this young talent so it is highly rewarding to see this recognised in the nomination of two members of the team.
